 Fee Structure for B.E. Govt. Qouta Seats

  (i)  Rs. 30,000/- Tution fee per year

  (ii) Students should pay Rs. 33,090/- DD ar Govt. CET Counselling Centre (including Other fee of Rs. 3,090/-)

 

 

Other Fees (For I year B.E.)

  (i)  For Govt. CET seats : Rs 27,550=00

  (ii) For Management Seats : Rs 30,150=00

        (plus Rs. 400/- for E&C/TCE branches)

 

Hostel Fee (Annual) 

  (i)  For I year B.E.,

           Boys -  Rs. 15,800/- which includes Rs, 3,000/- refundable deposit.

          Girls  -  Rs. 16,300/- which includes Rs, 3,000/- refundable deposit.

  (ii)  Mess charges: around Rs. 1000/- per month.

 

 

1.  45 % Seats will be filled by State Government based on State CET Ranking. Only Karnataka students are eligible for this.  

2.  Annual Tuition Fee:  Rs 30,000.00 for all branches for JNNCE.

3. 5% Additional Govt. seats are reserved for candidates with State CET  ranking less than  5,000 and parental income not exceeding Rs. 2,00,000/-. There will be no tuition fee for this category.

 

4. 15 % of NRI + 10 % other Management Seats

Duration:   8 Semesters (4 years)
Eligibility:  Pass in Pre-university or (10+2) examination, with 50% aggregate marks (45% for Reserved categories) in Physics, Mathematics and one of following as optional subjects: Chemistry, Biology or Bio-Technology. English should be one of the subjects of study.

Master of Computer Applications (MCA) degree:
 

Duration :6 semesters (3 years)

Eligibility: Any Bachelor’s degree with 50% average marks in the aggregate of the years of degree examinations. Should have studied one of the following subjects at degree level or at (10+2)level:

 

Mathematics/ Statistics / Computer Science / Computer Programming / Computer Applications/Business Mathematics / Business Statistics.

 

For MBA and MCA Seats :

 

1. 50% Seats : Through state government PGCET Entrance Test conducted by KEA, Belgaum

3. Karnataka Management Aptitude Test invites for admission into MBA & MCA Courses offered by Self Financing, University affiliated, AICTE approved Colleges in Karnataka. The association has 99 Colleges as members participating in the KMAT 2011. The KMAT Entrance Test is open to all categories of students throughout the country and is conducted at various Centres in Karnataka. KMAT 2011 Applications may be obtained by paying Rupee 50/- in any of the participating colleges. You can also download from the website http://www.kmatindia.com. The duly filled in applications along with a demand draft of Rupee 500/- ( for either MBA / MCA ) or Rupee 600/- for both, in favour of “KMAT 2011″ payable at Bangalore, should reach to the following address on or before 16th July, 2011.

      Eligibility: B.E in any of the following branches with 50% of marks in the aggregate of all the years of degree examination.  

 

  (i)  For M. Tech in Computer Science and Engg:

 

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Engg./Electronics & Communication Engg./, Electrical & Electronics Engg./Information Science & Engg./, Instrumentation/ Telecommunication Engg./, or equivalent degree; AMIE in appropriate branch. GATE: CS, EC, EE, IN, IT.

 

 (ii) For M.Tech in Network & Internet Engg:

Bachelor's Degree in Electronics & Communication/ Electronics & Telecommunication/Telecommunication/Electrical & Electronics/Computer Science & Engineering/Information Science & Engineering or equivalent degree. AMIE in appropriate branch. GATE: EC, EE, CS,IT.  

 

  (iii) For M.Tech in Design Engg (Machine Design):

 

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engg/ Industrial & Production Engg/ Automobile Engg/ Industrial Engg/Manufacturing Engg./Industrial Engg.& Manufacturing or equivalent degree; AMIE in appropriate branch. GATE: EC, IN.

Application

    Karnataka Examination authority is the new body to conduct the Karnataka Post Graduation Common Entrance Test (PGCET 2011). KEA has published official Notification to conduct PGCET 2011 for admission to MBA/MCA/ME/M.Tech/M.Arch courses in the colleges affiliated to various Universities of Karnataka. Applications are invited from eligible and interested candidates for appearing in the PGCET 2011.  

PGCET 2011

    It’s mandatory to appear for PGCET 2011 in order to get into any of these professional courses in Karnataka. However for Engineering courses (M.E/M.Tech/M.Arch & MBA Infrastructure Management) those who have already appeared in the GATE exam are exempted from appearing in PGCET. Students with valid GATE score need to fill the separate application form.

  • Buy Demand Draft in any Nationalized Bank drawn in favor of “The Executive Director, Karnataka Examinations Authority” payable at Bangalore.

  • Prepare or Buy cloth-lined envelop of size 25cm X 30cm and write your address.

  • Keep the self addressed envelop and DD in a cover. On the top of the cover Write “Request for PGCET – 2011 brochure for _________________ course (Fill the gap with your desired course MBA/MCA/M.E/M.Tech/M.Arch/MBA Infrastructure Management etc)
