Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering

The department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering
offers courses in the field of Electrical Machines, Power Electronics,
Instrumentation, Control Systems, Reliability and systems engineering. The
department has Circuits and Measurements lab, Electrical Machinery Lab, Power
and Industrial Electronics Lab, Controls and Relay lab and High voltage
laboratory. Several Student projects of the department have been selected by
K.S.C.S.T for exhibition and seminars. |

The
department has conducted workshops for Engineers from industries and
Electricity boards. Consultancy works are also undertaken by the department.
The teaching staff of the department is actively taking part in presenting
papers in conferences.
The
department has been recognized as 'Research Centre' by the VTU (
