About the Workshop

The Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering of J.N.N.College of Engineering, in association with the Cryptology Research Society of India (CRSI) and Institution of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineers, Shimoga Centre, is organizing a National Workshop on Cryptology. This workshop is an annual event of the CRSI. The responsibility of organizing the current edition of the workshop has been awarded to us. Two more major events of CRSI in the year 2021 are ASIACRYPT and INDOCRYPT.

Indigenous secure communication network is a necessity of our country. Such a network is undoubtedly an integral part of national security. Banking and other commercial establishments are moving over to transactions over the Internet. World Wide Web and the Internet are growing in leaps both in size and popularity. Both the central and state governments have been rigoursly-pursuing E-governance, which relies heavily on a reliable and secure national network.

Cryptology is the art & science of securing the data over the network. A strong research backbone is essential to meet these demands. This workshop aims at providing a platform to both the researchers and professionals working in this area. It also encourages the young researchers by giving them an opportunity to present their work to the Cryptographic community for evaluation.
