Application has to be sent along with a DD for Rs.500=00 drawn in favour of Principal, JNNCE, payable at Shimoga.

Duration: 8 Semesters (4 years)
Eligibility: Pass in Pre-university or (10+2) examination, with 50% aggregate marks (45% for Reserved categories) in Physics, Mathematics and one of following as optional subjects: Chemistry, Biology or Bio-Technology. English should be one of the subjects of study.

Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree:

Duration: 4 Semesters (2 years)
Eligibility: Any Bachelor’s degree with 50% of marks in the aggregate of all the years of degree examination. Specializations: Finance, Marketing, HRM.

Master of Computer Applications (MCA) degree:

Duration :6 semesters (3 years)
Eligibility: Any Bachelor’s degree with 50% average marks in the aggregate of the years of degree examinations. Should have studied one of the following subjects at degree level or at (10+2)level:
Mathematics/ Statistics / Computer Science / Computer Programming / Computer Applications/Business Mathematics / Business Statistics.

For MBA and MCA Seats :

1. 50% Seats: Through state government PGCET Entrance Test conducted by KEA, Belgaum (Website: http://kea.kar.nic.in)
2. 50 % Management seats : Based on KMAT or other National Level Entrance Test ranking
3. Karnataka Management Aptitude Test invites for admission into MBA & MCA Courses offered by Self Financing, University affiliated, AICTE approved Colleges in Karnataka. The association has 99 Colleges as members participating in the KMAT 2011. The KMAT Entrance Test is open to all categories of students throughout the country and is conducted at various Centres in Karnataka. KMAT 2011 Applications may be obtained by paying Rs. 50/- in any of the participating colleges. You can also download from the website http://www.kmatindia.com. The duly filled in applications along with a demand draft of Rs. 500/- (for either MBA / MCA) or Rs. 600/- for both, in favour of “KMAT 2011″payable at Bangalore, should reach to the following address on or before 16th July, 2011.

M.Tech Seats
Through state government PGCET Entrance Test conducted by Karnataka Examinations Authority.

Duration: 4 Semesters (2 years)

Eligibility: B.E in any of the following branches with 50% of marks in the aggregate of all the years of degree examination.

M. Tech in Computer Science and Engg:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Engg./Electronics & Communication Engg./, Electrical & Electronics Engg./Information Science & Engg./, Instrumentation/ Telecommunication Engg./, or equivalent degree; AMIE in appropriate branch. GATE: CS, EC, EE, IN, IT.

(ii) For M.Tech in Network & Internet Engg:

Bachelor's Degree in Electronics & Communication/ Electronics & Telecommunication/Telecommunication/Electrical & Electronics/Computer Science & Engineering/Information Science & Engineering or equivalent degree. AMIE in appropriate branch. GATE: EC, EE, CS,IT.

(iii) For M.Tech in Design Engg (Machine Design):

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engg/ Industrial & Production Engg/ Automobile Engg/ Industrial Engg/Manufacturing Engg./Industrial Engg.& Manufacturing or equivalent degree; AMIE in appropriate branch. GATE: EC, IN.

(iv) For M.Tech in Transportation Engg., and Management:

Bachelor's Degree Electronics & Communication/ Electronics & Telecommunication/Telecommunication/Electrical & Electronics/Computer Science & Engineering/Information Science & Engineering or equivalent degree. AMIE in appropriate branch. GATE: EC, EE, CS,IT.

(v) For M.Tech in Digital Electronics & Communication Systems:

Eligibility: Bachelor's Degree with 50% aggregate in Electronics & Communication/ Instrumentation Technology/ Electronics & Telecommunication, or equivalent degree; AMIE in appropriate branch.

(vi) For M.Tech in Computer Integrated Manufacturing: [ Started from 2012-13 -- New Course]

Eligibility: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engg/ Industrial & Production Engg/ Automobile Engg/ Industrial Engg/Manufacturing Engg./Industrial Engg.& Manufacturing or equivalent degree; AMIE in appropriate branch. GATE: EC, IN.

Application: Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA), Bangalore invites application for Postgraduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET 2012) for MBA, MCA, M.Tech, M.Arch and M.E courses Commencing in the session 2012.

Eligibility: Candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline with 50% of marks from a recognized university.

Note: The candidates with valid GATE score need not appear for PGCET-2012 for admission to M.E. / M.Tech. / M. Arch / MBA (Infrastructure Management) courses, but they have to fill and submit the PGCET-2012 application form for admission for what is VALID GATE Score? Please visit KEA Website.

• If a candidate likes to apply for more than one course (eg. for both MBA and MCA) then he/ she is required to apply accordingly as per the instructions. First the candidate has to enter the required details in the application online then download the Challan and pay the required fee in any of the branches given in the Website, Then come back with the Challan with stamp and seal on the Challan from the payee bank for having paid the requisite fee. Enter the journal number and complete the application details.
